The events of the last few months have been piling up on me. It feels like the last week, even moreso. It's hard to ignore what is going on in Japan, and feel the sheer grief and anxiety of the people, or to think of the poor workers, combing for bodies. How do you go on in those times?
Then there is My Life. Family illnesses, parents with cancer, blood clots, uncontrolled pain. That causes just as much grief, for the one life dear to me, as it does for the many that I don't know. But grief is personal.
It really does drive home one thing: Don't wait for the Right Time. Everyone has that one friend who wants a family but is waiting for the 'right time'. Those are the people who end up 40 and infertile, wondering what happened while they were working on getting to the Right Time.
The Right Time is also a problem for jobs, going back to school, or going on a trip... ie: it's not the Right Time for us to go to Disneyland, the kids are too young (I've heard this a million times). Chances are, if you are inclined to do something, or feel like you need a change, it's your inner self telling you so. Why do we ignore this for the Right Time?
If we take in to account the Law of Attraction (no matter how we think of it - as very literal or as basic Karma)then there is no Right Time - it's all the Right Time, because the only time we really have is now.
It always sounds cliche, but you never know when your number is up. Or when your loved ones number is up. Or what lies ahead. But you can live your life now. Not dreaming about the Right Time.
Making the most of the moment, of the time we have now, should be our focus. Sieze the Day.
And if you get caught up in the grief, Seize the Vodka and then move on.

What a great article! Seize the vodka and move on! I've always said ( not as well as you) there's no time like the present; there is no time, just the present. That attitude helped me ride my bike from Amsterdam to Paris by myself (if you know what I mean.)
